The Siegrists are a husband and wife team that started their painting careers together back in 1989. As fulltime artists from the start of their life together, they have participated in over 1,000 art shows, received hundreds of awards between them and had their miniature paintings displayed in over 130 museums. Their work with miniature art societies, online forums, their solo traveling museum tour “Exquisite Miniatures“ and the publication of “Modern Masters of Miniature Art In America“ earned them the title of:

From 1987 until 2001 the Siegrists participated in regional outdoor art festivals. They started doing international and miniature art exhibitions @1996-1997. Initially conventional scale artists adept in a variety of media, they began to niche into miniature watercolors in the late 1990s making the switch completely in the early 2000s. Participating in conventional scale exhibitions as miniaturists gave them almost immediately an identity that focuses them even today. Enchanted with ‘art in little’, they’ve never looked back.

In 2008 the Siegrists were approached by the esteemed curator and tour director Dr. David J. Wagner to consider publishing a book featuring their miniature art. Later, that same week, Dr. Wagner proposed a traveling exhibition of their miniature art which came to fruition in July of 2010 at the prestigious R.W. Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport, LA. Since that time, the Siegrists’ exhibition EXQUISITE MINIATURES has grown into a continual record-setting and history-in-the-making achievement for miniaturists. Their exhibition is currently booked out into 2023 and encompasses almost 40 different museums across the United States!

The Siegrists’ miniature paintings are included in several museum collections including the Woolaroc Museum in Bartlesville, OK. The Woolaroc is the repository for perhaps the last complete collection of historical portrait miniatures of United States Presidents and the Siegrists have continued this tradition with paintings of George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
